The other day, after a DARE to Believe Healing Conference, I was sitting in a restaurant with a group of people near Ocklawaha, Florida. As the waitress came to our table, she asked us,
“What church do you belong to?” And she continued to say, “I ask because you all just shine.”
We shared with her where we were all from and what we were doing. Then we asked her if she needed prayer for anything. She opened up to the three of us sitting at the far end of the table and shared some personal matters that needed inner healing. We also asked her if she needed any physical healing. She said she had a lot of trouble with her back and it was in a lot of pain.
So, right at the table, we laid our hands upon her. I placed my hand upon her back and as soon as I reached out and touched her, all pain was gone.
We prayed over the personal matters and spoke a prophetic word from the Lord, then we gave her some contact information for her to connect with the local body of believers in her area.
But did you notice that the opportunity opened up for us to minister to her because she first could see a shine on us?
In Matthew 5:16 Jesus tells us to “let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” We have been supernaturally equipped to create for the good of this earth—to create good that will bless and benefit the inhabitants of the whole earth.
