Aldo McPherson and Retha continue their story of faith in the book Heaven and Hell. This is a sequel to the story told in the book “A Message from God.” In an auto accident in 2004 Aldo was thrown from the car on impact: he was airlifted to the hospital; badly hurt with a head injury, which left him on the brink of death, and in a coma for over four weeks.

Co-Author Retha McPherson, Aldo’s mother reiterates the early stages of Aldo’s miraculous gift of life and her own faith story. In a beautiful heartfelt testimony she tells how she exchanged the rules, regulations, and traditions of religion for the reality of knowing Jesus personally, and how her life was transformed from a self-center-ego-centered controller, to a humbled, forgiven, child of God. She tells about the pain of grief and the promise of Aldo’s recovery.

Retha relates how she and her husband Tinus followed the Lord’s instruction to speak life into Aldo and of his road to recover. From a hospital bed, to a wheel chair, to playing soccer with his friends, Aldo’s recovery continues. Faltering steps and a slow monotone speech pattern have not hampered Aldo’s love for Jesus nor deterred his determination to deliver the message of heaven and hell given Him by Jesus during his visit in heaven. Aldo continues his journal writing with Holy Spirit inspired messages, prayer vigils with Jesus and a vision for bodily healing and an anointed ministry.
