Best-selling Authors, Bill Johnson and Lance Wallnau, challenge Christians to start living their faith every where and not just inside the church

Invading Babylon

Before the church was a place for people to go to, Jesus created a moving “church” in the form of his disciples and followers.  They brought transformation to a chaotic society.

In Destiny Image’s newest book, “Invading Babylon,” authors Bill Johnson and Lance Wallnau offer essential guidelines to follow as a Christian in order to better understand your own role in society, so that you can better spread God’s will and message.

“For too long, Christianity has been defined by a false concept of church.  As a result, believers have built walls around their lives, keeping culture at a distance,” said Johnson.  “As Christians try to keep culture out of the church, unfortunately, the church has kept itself out of the culture.  But this wasn’t ever Jesus’ design for our lives.”

The book, featuring contributions from well-known authors, Alan Vincent, Patricia King, C. Peter Wagner and Dr. Che Ahn, is meant to help individuals rise up and become the light within an otherwise dark world through the “seven spheres of influence:” church, family, education, government, media, arts and commerce.

“Invading Babylon” is available everywhere books are sold on July 16.

Johnson is a fifth-generation pastor with a rich heritage in the Holy Spirit. Together Johnson and his wife, Brenda (Beni), serve a growing number of churches that have partnered for revival.  This leadership network has crossed denominational lines, building relationships that enable church leaders to walk successfully in both purity and power. The Johnson’s are the senior pastors of Bethel Church, Redding, California.

Lance Wallnau is a recognized leader in the field of personal and organizational transformation. He directs the Lance Learning Group, a company dedicated to helping believers impact secular spheres by fully actualizing their gifts talents and skills within the sphere of their professional life.

Destiny Image, located in Shippensburg, Pa, was founded in 1983 by Pastor Don Nori, Sr. It seeks to accurately represent authors who have a call to share God’s present word to His people and to make these authors easily accessible to the Christian body around the world in every form of media possible.
